They have been elected to serve as officers for the Central Ohio Organization of Public Purchasers (CO-OPP). Their duties are to conduct meetings, to abide by the Chapter’s Bylaws, and to function in every respect as the Chapter's officers to guide in the development of the Chapter's goals and objectives, as well as becoming familiar with Roberts’ Rules of Order.

CO-OPP President Barbara Colebanks's 2025 Vision...
“My vision as CO-OPP President is to involve members in the mission and vision of CO-OPP. A vibrant community of procurement professionals who strive to be the best-in-class resource and networking organization. It is WE who make CO-OPP successful, the stakeholders who elevate the procurement profession.
My goals started with adopting NIGP’s theme of Leading with Purpose. The new Mission and Vision statements were crafted to lead members into the future. These statements are the core of who WE are and where we want to be. Establishing this main goal also means looking deeper into our strategic initiatives and how they support CO-OPP’s Mission and Vision and then establishing Committee goals that tie into the Mission and Vision. These goals should assist CO-OPP members in becoming a cohesive organization that contributes to a member’s successes, both as individuals and to their agency.
I chose public service because no matter how small my contributions may be, it makes a difference. Being a part of CO-OPP also makes me feel like I’m making a difference by helping others succeed. I hope to mostly influence the spirit of collaboration and unity within CO-OPP members. After all, we’re all in this together.” ~ Barbara Colebank
